PAV Haulage Ltd is looking for professional and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing transport operation.

The Role
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of containers while delivering the high standards of service our customers expect. Safety, professionalism and compliance are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out container deliveries and collections across the UK.
Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
Ensure all loads are transported safely and securely.
Comply with all DVSA, Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations.
Maintain accurate tachograph and transport records.
Represent PAV Haulage professionally when dealing with customers and port operators.
Follow company policies and health and safety procedures at all times.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:

A valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
A valid Driver CPC qualification.
A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous container haulage experience (preferred).
Good knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Regulations.
A professional attitude with excellent timekeeping and communication skills.
The ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.

Working Pattern
Full-time, permanent position.
Monday to Friday.
Typical working days of 13–15 hours, in line with the Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations 2005 and UK Drivers’ Hours legislation.
Consistent work and a stable routine.
Weekend work may be available where operationally required.

Salary & Benefits
£44,200 per annum.
Weekly pay.
Overtime paid after 13 hours worked in a day.
